Let us meet across the P/T boundary
Workshop on Permian and Triassic Paleobotany and Palynology
Bozen / Bolzano (I), June 16-18, 2005
The aim of the workshop is to provide a forum for all researchers interested in the studies of Paleobotany and Palynology of the Permian and Triassic time interval.
The main topics include comparisons between micro- and macrofloras of similar age as well as the extinction event at the P/T boundary and its biotic recovery. Also, more general relevant questions, such as if and how sporomorphs and fossil plants provide information about climate changes during time, may be discussed.
The workshop is sustained by the South Tyrol Museum of Nature South Tyrol.
